Magazine cover overrun of 1935 Kentucky Horseman, featuring four stunning stallions (left to right): Reveler, King’s Sport, The Yankee, and Captain Courageous, with an unidentified horse in the background. Winganeek Farm was owned by the Woolworth heiress, Miss Clara S. Peck, and was one of the most renowned American Saddlebred nurseries in the country. The original 1930s oil painting is now a part of the Museum’s collection, having once adorned the lobby of the Lafayette Hotel in downtown Lexington, KY.
