In the 1940s, the Cole Brothers Circus wintered at the Kentucky State Fairgrounds in Louisville, KY. The circus purchased the Saddlebred stallion Lee Rose McAdams in 1941. He shared the same sire as WGC CHSweetheart On Parade. A show horse before he became a circus star, Lee Rose McAdams won fourth place in the five-gaited three year-old division of the 1940 Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show.
