The Saddlebred Squares Recap & Photos

The American Saddlebred Museum held its annual World’s Championship Horse Show party on Wednesday, August 23rd during the Kentucky State Fair. The move in venue from the Saddlebred Café to the South Wing C Ballroom allowed for an additional 300 people to attend the event — a total of 800. The theme of the event was 70s game shows, which set the stage for a fun evening and many great outfits.

On July 8th, Executive Director Jennifer Foster and Event Chair Cindy Carcione, along with the Museum team put together a see-and-be-seen event during the Lexington Junior League Charity Horse Show. As the unfortunate rain, though perhaps fitting given its historical frequency, subsided at the last year at the Red Mile over 200 guests enjoyed brunch and festivities at the Museum.

On Wednesday, August 23, 2017 immediately following the evening performance of the World’s Championship Horse Show, Saddlebred celebrities will compete to raise funds for the American Saddlebred Museum. The Saddlebred Café in the North Wing, adjacent to Freedom Hall, will be the venue for this fabulous event. You do not want to miss this 70s themed game show competition!

Fifth Annual Youth, Young Adult, and Adult Art Contest

The American Saddlebred Museum’s Young Adult Committee is once again hosting an Art Contest! The contest will be divided into two age divisions: Youth (18 & Under) and Young Adult (19-35). Depending on the number of entries received, the Youth division may be further divided by age. In addition, there is a division for Amateur Artists (36 & Over).
