The American Saddlebred Museum gift shop was voted the store of the month for December 2018 by the Museum Store Association! Former recipients include the Shops of George Washington's Mount Vernon and the Phoenix Art Museum. Stay tuned, big things are coming in 2019!

LEXINGTON, KY - December 3, 2018 - Save the date for Runway and Rescue on Friday, February 15th at 7:00 p.m. at the Churchill Downs Starting Gate Suite. ASB Museum board member Carson Kressley will emcee the evening's festivities which will include a fashion show, entertainment, cocktails, and heavy hors d'oeuvres.

Sixth Annual Youth, Young Adult, and Adult Art Contest

The American Saddlebred Museum's Young Adult Committee is once again hosting an Art Contest! The contest will be divided into two age divisions: Youth (18 & Under) and Young Adult (19-35). Depending on the number of entries received, the Youth division may be further divided by age. In addition, there is a division for Amateur Artists (36 & Over).

Construction has begun at the ASB Museum

After two years of planning, phase one of the renovation at the American Saddlebred Museum is underway. Architect Christopher Quirk, with Solid Light has designed the space and Solid Light exhibit designers have created updated exhibits. This is the second renovation since the Museum opened at the Kentucky Horse Park in 1986.
Keith Bartz Impact Scholarship Award

The American Saddlebred Museum is pleased to announce the Keith Bartz Impact Scholarship Award. This year, the award is $1,500 and will be given to an individual dedicated to raising awareness of the American Saddlebred and improving the community. The scholarship will be awarded at the annual UPHA National Conference.
